Why is this LS specific?

LS/Gen III-IV engines (4.8, 5.3, 6.0, 6.2, etc.) use a different crank pilot depth and flexplate spacing than traditional SBC/BBC. These 4L80E/4L85E builds are set up to bolt directly to LS engines without adapters.

What about flexplates and converters?

All LS applications require the correct flexplate and converter setup. Our packages include a converter matched to LS spacing and stall needs. Multi‑disc options available for higher tiers.

Do I need a standalone controller?

Factory PCM/TCM can control the 4L80E/4L85E in many LS trucks/cars. For swaps or retrofits, we recommend standalone controllers (TCI, Holley, etc.). We provide baseline calibration guidance.

Is the cooler upgrade required?

Yes. Flush or replace the cooler/lines at install to protect against debris and overheating. Overheating is the #1 failure cause and not covered under warranty.

What’s the warranty?

Coverage is tiered per build—extendable up to 6 years total with Extend. Abuse, overheating, or improper tuning are excluded.
