Why is this LS specific?

LS/Gen III-IV engines use different crank pilot depth and flexplate/converter spacing than traditional SBC/BBC. These 4L85E packages are set up to bolt directly to LS engines with the correct converter engagement.

What about flexplates and converters?

LS applications require the correct flexplate and converter setup. Our packages include a converter matched to LS spacing and stall needs. Multi-disc options are available for higher tiers.

Do I need a standalone controller?

Factory PCM/TCM can control the 4L85E in many LS trucks/cars. For swaps, we recommend a quality standalone controller (TCI, Holley, etc.). We provide baseline shift and lockup guidance; final tuning should match your build.

Is the cooler upgrade required?

Yes—flush or replace the cooler and lines at install. Heat and contamination are the #1 killers of any build and can void warranty coverage.

What’s the warranty?

Coverage is tiered per build and can be extended up to 6 years total with Extend. Abuse, overheating, or improper tuning are excluded.
