Great trans shifts good and monster was great to work with

After purchasing another competitors 4L65E at a reduced price and a similar advertised HP rating - I learned the hard way that not all builds are the same. It didn't even last 300 miles before 1st and 3rd gear left the chat. Once I received the the Sport Monster I could instantly tell the build quality was different. Deep pan - billet servo and billet torque converter. I was confident that the advertised parts were certainly inside the transmission as well. I installed the transmission, new trans cooler lines and a new remote stacked transmission cooler. Initial driving and the transmission shifts better and runs cooler (155deg on a hot day) I am assured that it can handle to power - plus the warranty gives me a peace of mind. I would highly recommend Monster Transmissions. The price is right, the support is great and the quality is above par. I used Monster to replace my stock 5.8l Bronco 4AOD transmission and that one has also held up exceptionally with daily driving and occasional off road adventures. Monster is a company I will definitely use again

Had a rocky start with the company being was told shipping dates were gonna be way sooner than what they were. Also thought trans was built already for shipping. Once we got through the misunderstanding with all that they made it right and got the trans shipped in a quick and efficient manner. The trans showed up crated. All there. Instructions were clear and understandable to a mechanic or to a normal back yard mechanic. Trans went in great no issues. Did relearn on trans. Took down all the data required for the warrantee. Ran it the 300 miles. Checked everything over. At 350 hooked onto the trailer and let it eat. Overall im super impressed with the drivability of this trans. Shifts firm. Doesn't get hot. Overall I think Monster did a great job.

I bought this E40D after I had the original trans in the truck blow up from too much power, the first impression was interesting as I put it in the truck and 40 miles later the front seal blew out. I contacted customer service and got a new trans sent out asap. They were very upfront and willing to help. Second trans is in and working amazing, great service by monster.

I ordered a torque converter for my TH2004R along with a rebuild kit - I spent over $1100 with Monster. A few months later when I went to install it in my project car I discovered they had sent me the wrong TC for a TH700-R4 (30 spline instead of 27). I called them and since it had been over 30 days there was nothing they would do for me (zero)! Very poor customer service! I will NOT be doing anymore business with Monster Transmission. Obviously my fault for not checking my parts when they arrived, but I would have expected since it was their error they would have worked with me. Dissatisfied customer - Greg from Michigan.

I had to replace my transmission and put a monster in the truck I tow a 21 foot bass boat tournament loaded. it pulls much better with better shifting i have noticed slightly better mpg as well.
The service i received from ordering to delivery was great. i would consider a monster transmission a upgrade and not a replacement.
