Heavy-Duty Dodge Ram Transmissions
Unleash the full potential of your truck with a Monster transmission. We build dyno-tested 46RE, 47RE, 48RE, and 68RFE units engineered to conquer Cummins torque and Hemi power. For towing, racing, or daily driving, we deliver reliability that lasts.
Engineered to Exceed Factory Limitations
Stock Dodge transmissions are known for specific weaknesses, especially when faced with heavy loads or increased engine power. Monster targets these failure points head-on. By using superior friction materials, high-pressure valve bodies, and billet components, we build transmissions that don't just replace the original—they perfect it.

Dodge Ram Transmission FAQ
Your questions about upgrading your Ram transmission, answered.
Which Monster build level is right for my Ram?
For stock or lightly modified trucks used for daily driving or light towing, our Heavy Duty "Eat My Shift" builds are a perfect fit. For trucks with tuners, larger turbos, or those used for heavy hauling, we strongly recommend our "Annihilator" series with billet components.
Will a Monster transmission solve my 48RE's shifting problems?
Yes. Many 48RE issues stem from worn valve bodies and failing governor pressure solenoids. Our builds include fully remanufactured and calibrated valve bodies and upgraded electronics to restore crisp, reliable shifting and proper line pressure rise.
Do I need a multi-disc torque converter for my Cummins?
A multi-disc (or triple-disc) converter is highly recommended for any Cummins engine making over 400 HP or 800 lb-ft of torque. It provides significantly more clutch surface area to prevent slippage under high load, ensuring all your power makes it to the ground.
Are your transmissions hard to install?
Our transmissions are designed as direct, bolt-in replacements for the factory unit. While installation is a job for a confident mechanic with the right tools, no custom modification is required. They arrive ready to install.
