Simple to install, only gripe is it doesn’t come preprogrammed

Installed the sport monster in my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 that I have done some work too about three days ago so far I’ve put about 50 miles on it. I did the hot flush on all the lines and remove the old cooler and went with the oversized Mishimoto trans cooler. Running the lube guard trans fluid that they sent with. It drove about 50 miles so far going to do the 500 mile break-in. Its shifts really firm and I’m really pleased with everything. No leaks. The stall converter drives great and locks up great. I am pleased with my purchase so far! Excited to break it in and see what this thing will really do!

Got this transmission back in February and since put about 6k miles with some some light towing over mountains and it seems great so far it is a little louder than stock when shifting at low rpm it kinda chatters but other than that it’s been great

I have yet to have the Transmission installed. It was shipped to a local shop for installation on a 1971 Buick GS and I’m sure that will be great addition to the vehicle instead of the original three speed looking forward to it.

The unit showed up in a timely manner an was in a plastic container. Did have two quarts of fluid that had leaked in to the bottom. The unit was clean and after installing it vehicle is running an driving great. No issues with install and this makes the 5th unit I have put in different vehicles.

I was going back and forth between purchasing a new StreetMonster Transmission or rebuilding it with the rebuild kit. I installed a Stage 2 46RE from Monster in my 2002 Ram 1500 (5.9). Install was done at home using a transmission jack and stands. Fitment was good and everything lined up as expected.
After getting everything set, the transmission performs exactly how it should. Shifts are firm and positive without being harsh. It doesn’t hang gears, and under light throttle it moves through gears smoothly. When you give it throttle, it responds immediately and downshifts when it should.
At highway speeds, it will kick down and hold the gear under load with no slipping. That was a big concern for me based on past experience, and this unit has been solid.
I’ve put several weeks of mixed driving on it now—city, highway, and some harder pulls—and it’s been consistent the entire time. No flare, no abnormal behavior, and no unusual noises.
Compared to other rebuilt transmissions I’ve had, this one feels the most controlled and confidence-inspiring so far.
Overall, very satisfied with the performance.
