ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
  • When you install a replacement 6L80, the vehicle’s programming needs to match what’s in the truck—otherwise you can end up with poor shift quality, drivability issues, or unnecessary stress on the transmission. This 6L80 Remote Tuning Device makes the process simple.

    Just plug the device into the OBD-II port, connect it to your phone in the app, and read the vehicle’s current file before removing the old 6L80. Our system uses that read to generate an updated file—typically within minutes—built around your vehicle’s current strategy. After your new transmission is installed, plug the device back in and write the updated file to complete the process.
